SCIDI headed back to New York

SCIDI divers once again conducted surveys in Lake George, NY for invasive Asian clams. With water temperatures in the low 40s divers Dan Marelli, Steve Resler and Alan Humphrey assisted personnel from the Darrin Fresh Water Institute. Surveys are meant to measure the effectiveness of eradication projects in the lake.

Divers for SCIDI and Innerspace Scientific Diving are once again working with the scientists at the Darrin Fresh Water Institute conducting a spring survey for invasive Asian clams in Lake George, NY.  Cold water is a mild deterrent but we are trying out new electric glove liners and hope soon to be promoting these incredible tools to scientific, commercial, and public safety divers.
